Alessandro has studied in both Florence University, from which he holds a degree in Economics, and Stockholm University.

His thesis on ‘Technological Development and Marketing Representation Techniques in the marketing of hardware suppliers for the telecommunication industry’ earned him international acclaim through recognition as one of the best 10 thesis for the academic year 2001 - 2002 by Vodafone.

Having worked for four years in the Sultanate of Oman as assistant to the director of a global company, Alessandro returned to Italy to work in the internet industry, and went on to co-found TL Media in 2005.

He is passionate about his work and passes on his enthusiasm to students at both Florence University and NYU in Florence, where he often lectures and is involved in research.

Alessandro is a keen fencer, and an avid sailor.
